Contact Lens Examination  
(For EXISTING Patients)

Existing MOSCOT contact lens patients may schedule a contact lens examination at any time. This is a comprehensive eye health exam that gives our doctors a thorough understanding of your overall ocular health and ensures your prescription is up-to-date. In addition to a retinal exam, we use sophisticated tests such as keratometry and biomicroscopy to determine parameters and curvature measurements, the fit of the lens, and the health of your cornea. If your eyes are dilated, his exam may take up to one hour and you should expect to have blurry vision and light sensitivity for up to four hours; however most patients do not require dilation. MOSCOT provides a full range of contact lens services and products – everything from basic contact lenses to bifocal lenses to specialty fit contact lenses. And while periodic examinations are still necessary to ensure your contact lens prescription is up-to-date, MOSCOT patients with a valid prescription may refill their contact lens supply online via our website.
