Dr. Brandon Butler is an Associate Optometrist at MOSCOT Eyecare, the medical eye division of MOSCOT Eyewear and Eyecare Since 1915. Dr. Butler received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and Music Performance from the State University of Bakersield, California, and his Bachelor of Science in Physiological Optics and a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry.
Dr. Butler received his Doctorate of Optometry from the State of New York in 2004. He holds a State Certification for Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents in both California and New York and a Certificate of Diagnostic and Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease of National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Butler completed his internship at VA Hospital in Sacramento, California and Ophthalmology rotations at the Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He also completed an externship at the Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Dr. Butler joined the Moscot Eyecare family in 2007 where he specializes in the treatment of ocular conditions including eye infections, dry eye, ocular allergies, diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, post – op care for LASIK and cataract patients, computer related vision syndromes, contact lens fitting, and specialty contact lenses for film and television.
Prior to joining MOSCOT, Dr. Butler practiced in San Francisco, CA, where he served as Secretary of the San Francisco Optometric Society and was a member of the California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and Lyons Club.
Dr. Butler is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association and the Optometric Society of the City of New York.
