Dr. Bo Yung Kwon serves as Senior Associate for MOSCOT Eyecare, the medical eye division of MOSCOT Eyewear and Eyecare Since 1915. Dr. Kwon is a licensed Doctor of Optometry in New York State and holds NY State Certification for Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (phase 1 and 2), certification of Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease of National Board of Examiners in Optometry (Part 2 and Part 3) and certification from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (Part 1). She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry, and her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Comparative Literature from State University of New York at Binghamton.
 
As Senior Associate for MOSCOT Eyecare, Dr. Kwon specializes in the treatment of ocular allergies, dry eyes, Computer Vision Syndrome and specialty contact lenses. She also treats and manages glaucoma patients, and co-manages treatment of retinal pathologies, cataracts, and LASIK with local ophthalmologists.

Prior to joining MOSCOT, Dr. Kwon spent five years diagnosing, treating and managing a wide variety of ocular diseases at health clinics and private vision centers throughout New York and Connecticut. She also completed internships at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical, the West Point Military Academy Eye Clinic and at SUNY College of Optometry.
 
Dr. Kwon is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association, the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and the Lions Club. She also regularly volunteers for MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation, MOSCOT’s charitable foundation providing free medical eyecare and vision screening for New Yorkers in need. She is fluent in Korean, with a workable knowledge of Spanish.
