The Quickest Way to Be a Style Visionary
The square-framed Wayfarer will never go away. But if you want something different from the shades all your friends are wearing, try a more rounded frame. East Coast prepsters used to wear round glasses in tortoiseshell, but for a more modern look, buy black frames. They'll give you a slightly geeky cool without going full Woody Allen.
With its polished, clean and refined look, The ZELIG is not as loud as its MOSCOT Original siblings, but its just as stylish! Zelig, which means "happy" in Yiddish was Grandpa Sol's affectionate nickname and fit him to a tee. Sol was a jovial guy - working the MOSCOT shop counter with an ear to ear grin while tirelessly doing what he loved to do best - make his customers happy! Square and made of pure acetate, The ZELIG has no exposed hardware and is beautifully beveled with a saddle bridge.
On his recent world tour to promote The Tourist, Johnny Depp has been strolling the red carpets and hitting the talk show circuit wearing his favorite MOSCOT eyewear, The LEMTOSH. Check out this clip of Johnny on David Letterman with the Tortoise LEMTOSH.
The December 11th, MOSCOT Music Saturday Session was jam packed with fans of Anni Rossi and MOSCOT! Anni put on an incredible show and looked great wearing The FIONAH in Honey (from The MOSCOT Spirit Collection) -- she even tweeted that they brought out the Italian woman in her, ain't that sweet! We just love Anni and her sound -- she is definitely one to watch!

Longtime MOSCOT fan and incredibly talented film director, Ariel Schulman, is on the rise!
Schulman both directed and is featured in the highly acclaimed indy film, Catfish, wearing his favorite frames, The HYMAN from The MOSCOT Originals Collection. We are honored to be featured his breakout film sensation, and in the fantastic commercial Schulman co-created for Nike, which also features MOSCOT eyewear.

MOSCOT had a packed house for our Unofficial CMJ Party on Saturday October 23rd, with the crowd at our Orchard Street Gallery spilling out onto the street! The smooth sounds of our very own Jacob C. Morris got the party started, followed by Akudama, who got the crowd movin’and shakin’ with their fun party tunes, and Robbers On High Street, who capped off the afternoon with their 60’s inspired beats - who doesn’t love a 60’s inspired rock band!
We’re thrilled to have had these artists perform as part of our ongoing music series, MOSCOT MUSIC Saturday Sessions, and look forward to our next event on December 11th.
