NEW YORK, August 22, 2013 — MOSCOT, a New York City institution renowned worldwide for its iconic eyewear, announces a charitable concert for the launch of The MYLES, a new sunglass inspired by Myles Kennedy, for which proceeds benefit The MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation, which is committed to providing quality complimentary eye examinations to New York’s underserved population.
Myles will indulge VIP’s and select fans with a forty-five minute live acoustic performance, at The MOSCOT Gallery and Music Space inside the MOSCOT Orchard Street Shop at 7:30PM on September 12th 2013. Guests will have an exclusive opportunity to view the debut of the frame, and experience new music from Myles’ upcoming album. A guitar from PRS and hour-long private lesson by Myles himself will be auctioned for The MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation.
The MYLES is a new sunglass created from an old classic and designed to emulates Myles's laid back, rock and roll style. The frame, available in muted earth tones, is derived from the MOSCOT Original Sechel and incorporates quality details and precision aesthetics with a modern flare.
Ten percent of proceeds from The MYLES purchased in MOSCOT shops and online at moscot.com will be donated to the MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation. The MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation is committed to continuing to improve the lives of New York City's underserved communities by providing free medical eye examinations and prescription eyewear — a cause we can all get behind!
