With styles too great to wait for June, MOSCOT declares March 4th the official start of Summer 2011 with the launch of MOSCOT Sun. The new Collection debuts with old friends and new styles that pay homage to the days of disco, but with a distinctively modern edge.
Oversized and dramatic, vintage inspired and classic, or sleek and modern, MOSCOT Sun has a frame for every face. Depending on the style, frames feature real glass or CR-39 lenses for 100% UVA and UVB sun coverage and can be made with or without a prescription.

Get to know a MOSCOT Employee! Introducing Jose!
What is your position at MOSCOT?
I'm an Optician and Salesperson at both the 14th and Orchard Street shops!
How long have you worked for MOSCOT?
I'm not sure...I lost count when I turned fifty!
What is your favorite thing about working at MOSCOT?
Everyone is a lot of fun to work with! I like to call it MOSCOT land because there's music and the brand has a strong history dating back to the 1800's. You have to work here to experience how wonderful it is!
What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?
I like to spend most of my time with my beautiful two year 'young' granddaughter.
Which is your favorite MOSCOT frame, and which frame do you wear?
I love all of them, but I wear The GLENN, The HESH, and The LEMTOSH, but not at the same time.
Where would you take your favorite MOSCOT Sun on vacation?
Cancun, Puerto Rico, Aruba… somewhere warm and sunny!
The German made MILTZEN-T Titanium frame is an ultra modern take on The MILTZEN, The MOSCOT Originals frame with the longest lineage. Part of The MOSCOT Titanium Collection, The MILTZEN-T translates The MILTZEN's classic P-3, full-view shaped frame (first introduced in the 1930s) into a slimmed down, lightweight silhouette. Constructed in two parts, the frame front is made of pure titanium and is nickel-free, making it strong, sturdy and hypo allergenic, and the frame temples are made of beta-titanium, a softer, more pliant material that can be easily adjusted for the perfect fit. The result? A frame that is smart, sleek and understated, just like the powerful men who have made the frames famous - think Andy Warhol, John Lennon, Harry Truman and Ghandi, to name a few.
Long time MOSCOT fan and Brooklyn’s own famed hip-hop recording artist and DJ, Theophilus London, made his network television debut last night wearing his favorite pair of MOSCOT Originals. Spotted wearing The LEMTOSH on The Late Show with David Letterman, Theophilus not only sounded great, but looked great too! Thanks for all the support Theophilus, we’re huge fans!
